Sexey's School Named Happiest Secondary School in Somerset

Sexey's School, part of the Quantock Education Trust, is proud to announce its inclusion among the happiest secondary schools in England and Wales, as highlighted by The Sunday Times. This accolade highlights the school's unwavering commitment to providing a nurturing and supportive environment for its students.
Sexey’s, with a score of 98%, ranked in the top 2% of all secondary schools in the UK and first for schools in Somerset and North Somerset.
The Sunday Times conducted an analysis of five years of data from Ofsted's Parent View surveys, focusing on parental feedback regarding student happiness. The Times only used data from secondary schools with at least 500 pupils and 100 parent submissions, ensuring that the rankings reflect meaningful and representative feedback.
In addition, the school’s progress 8 score which tracks academic progress between the end of primary and the end of secondary was the 3rd highest in Somerset last year. 56.9% of students received a GCSE grade 5 or above in English and Maths.
