We require a motivated and practical individual to join our dedicated team as DT Technician to support the Design Technology provision to deliver exceptional lessons. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing practical administrative support for the teaching of DT and duties will include assisting with the preparation of materials and equipment for use in DT lessons and the routine maintenance of resources and equipment.
Responsible for the preparation of food, cooking of high quality meals and some baking, the successful
candidate will have experience of food preparation in a high production food setting and a good
awareness of food hygiene and health and safety requirements. An NVQ 2 or equivalent in professional
cookery would be an advantage but not essential.
The hours will be 30 hours per week including a 1 in 3 weekend shift and rota to work 1 evening
per week. Mainly Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 7am-1.30pm /Wednesday 12.30pm - 7.30pm/Friday
